The Calico Club Cabaret of New Orleans is a nightclub-style show evoking the atmosphere of a 1940s supper club.

The evening starts with a 30-minute beginner swing dance lesson led by professional instructors. From there, the emcee guides the show, which consists of three sets of big band music.  At each of the two band breaks, the audience remains entertained with several variety acts; magic, tango, opera, puppetry, jazz pianists, jazz vocalists and more. Every show features a different combination of locally-sourced talent. No two shows are the same!

The cabaret features the Pat Barberot Orchestra, a 16-piece big band who are swinging into their 80th year of performing. Once known as the “Glenn Miller of New Orleans”, the late Pat Barberot earned the band their place in the New Orleans Musicians Hall of fame.  The band is now led by Pat Barberot’s son Bryan.
